Our Background
Finding someone who can provide you with insightful, practical and, above all, relevant advice can be difficult. At MaxAim we can do just that. Not because we all have Big 4 experience in practice, nor because we have worked together in corporate finance at Ernst & Young, provided finance as corporate bankers or worked as FDs in industry, but because we have done all of this and more.
As ICAEW qualified chartered accountants we have, between us, over 65 years of business experience across a wide range of industry sectors.

Chris’ Profile
Chris’ passion for business started early. At the tender age of 8 he was learning the secrets of business success when he set up a money-making tuck shop service for his friends at school.
From that point on, Chris knew he wanted to build and grow businesses. With a straight-talking approach to business, Chris is focused on helping SMEs tackle the major hurdles they encounter as they grow and expand.
From structuring debt packages of up to £100m for businesses across the UK, to completing eight transactions with a combined deal value of £200m and to leading a MBO, Chris understands how to position a business for growth.

Marcus’ Profile
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs… then you’re likely to be called Marcus Green. Rudyard Kipling’s poem ‘If’ best sums up Marcus’ approach to business, bringing order to the chaos.
The influences of his fathers' engineering skills are evident in Marcus’ attitude to solving problems and tackling complex issues. His approach to the finance function is unorthodox in that he takes a holistic view of an organisation, looking at the contribution of the different business functions on the strategic direction and financial performance of an organisation.
Marcus focuses on installing measurement and metrics to ensure an organisation is fully in control of both its present, and future, success. This is a methodology he has tested numerous times, restructuring businesses, integrating acquisitions and tidying up complex group structures.
