MaxAim - looking to recruit executive
MaxAim LLP is a fast growing professional services firm providing strategic and financial management advice to clients ranging from entrepreneurial businesses to FTSE 250 companies and private equity houses. The main services provided include interim CFO assignments, financial due diligence and debt advisory work.
The team currently comprises four Partners and one member of staff. The Partners have all worked in ‘Big 4’ Corporate Finance and Banking in addition to holding senior positions in industry. Since formation in January 2010 the firm has grown rapidly and is now looking to recruit a new staff member to assist with service delivery.
The Role - “Executive”
The role will be largely client facing and will be focused on supporting the Partners in delivering the services described above.
Examples of the kind of work that will be involved are:
- Finance function support to companies – including accounts preparation and bookkeeping
- Financial forecasting and modelling
- Preparing and writing business plans
- Due diligence – analytical work and report writing
MaxAim has an office in Wakefield though the role will largely be based at client premises.
The Candidate
The successful candidate is likely to be either recently ACA/CIMA qualified or part qualified, with experience of working either in a small to mid tier accountancy firm or in industry.
Key skills required are:
- Hands on experience of accounts preparation and bookkeeping
- Personable and able to form good working relationships with clients and professional peers
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to meet key deadlines without close supervision
- Good analytical skills, capable of using MS Excel to produce financial analysis and forecasts
- Report writing skills using MS Word
