MaxAim to revitalise the business scene
17 March 2010: Five of the North of England’s leading financial professionals have come together to form a new company, MaxAim, that promises to deliver strategic and financial management advice from a refreshingly different perspective.
The founders of MaxAim are Matt Peters, Chris Cormack, Ian Robinson, Marcus Green and Simon Oldfield. After initially working together in the corporate finance department of Ernst & Young, each has pursued individual careers in practice, banking and industry for over ten years before harnessing their broad skill-sets to form MaxAim.
MaxAim’s clients will benefit from working directly with a team that can apply a unique mix of skills, combining their experience from Big Four practice and corporate banking with the relevance that comes from being Directors in industry themselves.
This combination of skills and experience is unique in the North of England.
Matt Peters, Partner at MaxAim commented: “Good financial information, on which you can base sound financial decisions and investments is crucial. But, all too often, the cost and time in gathering this data is so cumbersome and expensive that business opportunities are missed, or decisions are made using incomplete information.
